...maybe you've heard this one?

WAABEL's future co-founders Abby, Courtney, & Aimee spent A LOT of 2021 in virtual spaces together: reconnecting, sharing creative ideas, and dreaming of a future without hundreds of miles between them. WAABEL (the idea) emerged from one of those conversations and was officially formalized after one REALLY fun and inspired creative collaboration combining Aimee's wearable art with Courtney's visionary photography, Abby's creative direction, and some of Seattle's most animated performers "just doing their thing".

Creative collaborations are powerful. They transform the often isolating work of artists into alive experiences of connection and expression. We get it, we've been there. It changed us.

Fast forward to the present, WAABEL now nourishes dynamic spaces where artists come together and create the stuff of dreams. Our next phase focuses on building a virtual ecosystem where these collaborations unfold organically and often and change the personal and professional trajectories of the creatives in our community.
